Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds
|
The Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds on the east side of Quincy is known as the cleanest and greenest in California.
The fairgrounds hosts one of the state's oldest county fairs, opening on the second Wednesday of August each year.

The five-day event features bull riding, auto racing and a midway, plus numerous 4-H and FFA exhibits, including a livestock auction.
The fairgrounds also hosts the Old-Fashioned County Picnic held the first Saturday in June featuring a classic car show and chili cook-off.
Among the regularly scheduled events are stock car racing, a llama show in June, and the High Sierra Music Festival in July.
This 64-acre community center and its facilities are available for private group use for meetings and conferences, shows, exhibits, weddings, reunions and special events throughout the year.
The site has RV parking, horse stalls, barns and show rings.
